Install Notes
- Window: run the self extracting zip file
- Linux (if provided): unzip and make the Workspace in the _binLinux folder executable and run it
- MAC (if provided): unzip and run the runApp.
Install Addons
The download software will run a InstallRecordAddons workspace:This include options
- Install MEcoder for higher video compression in the Record workspace
- This create a folder in the default install path [c:\synapx\3rdParty\MEncoder]
which is used by the software - NOTE the first time this is run it takes some time
- Install Baser Camera support - Windows (installs the camera driver)
- Switch back to the generic windows Direct Show - Windows
- Install Measurement Computing (USB1024) support - Windows (user need to install the driver that comes with the USB device)
Install Codec
Certain PC may not have the codec installs
We suggest the K-Lite Codec Pack.
